Megan Hirao is an OC/SD-based photographer and videographer.From documenting live events to creating compelling visual narratives, her work aims to showcase both the striking artistry and quiet fragments that surround her everyday life.Working primarily across photography and videography, she has collaborated with local acts and events, produced multiple print publications, and captured concert performances from artists including Turnstile, underscores, Alex G, and more.

KSDT Radio's second-ever print Media Magazine: highlighting the photographs, articles, and stories published throughout the 2025-2026 academic year.As Media Director, I oversaw and led all creative and editorial decisions from early conceptualization to production and distribution. Alongside organizing workflows, arranging layouts, and coordinating photoshoots, I additionally designed over 20 pages showcasing both personal and collaborative work.Below are a few examples of the pages I designed and contributed to.
